Malte Stuckmann, der OB-Kandidat der CDU in Gelsenkirchen hat in der WAZ auf eine Nachfrage der Lokalredaktion Gelsenkirchen geantwortet. Anlass des WAZ-Beitrags war ein Artikel auf diesem Blog über ein Facebook-Posting aus dem Jahr 2014, das sich einseitig gegen die Politik Israels richtete. Es wurde eine Grafik gepostet, die eine beliebte Vorlage bei Unterstützern der »palästinensischen« Sache“ war und die als Propaganda gegen Israel eingesetzt wurde. „Er könne sich nicht erinnern“ und „ihm sei nicht klar, wo das Bild auf seiner Facebook-Seite zu finden ist“, heißt es in der Stellungnahme. Außerdem betont er, dass ihn eine Anfrage der Ruhrbarone nicht erreicht hat:
„Eine Anfrage zu den Recherchen der „Ruhrbarone“ hätte ihn zudem nicht erreicht, so Stuckmann. Andernfalls würde er darauf bereits reagiert haben.“
Es hat zwei Anfragen dieses Blogs per Mail am 28. August und am 1. September 2020 bei ihm gegeben. Außerdem wurde der Fraktionsvorsitzende der CDU Sascha Kurth angeschrieben. Eine Antwort gab es bis heute nicht. Die angesprochene Grafik wurde Anfang der Woche von Malte Stuckmanns Facebook-Seite entfernt und kann nicht mehr aufgerufen werden. Die ursprüngliche Veröffentlichung wurde von mehreren seiner Freunde geteilt.
